Humane recalls 10,500 AI Pin chargers over fire risk from lithium batteries

Humane is recalling 10,500 charging cases for its AI Pin due to a fire risk from lithium batteries. This follows a previous warning in June for users to stop using the chargers. No injuries or property damage have been reported. The company has faced significant challenges since launching the AI Pin in April, receiving poor reviews and struggling with high return rates. Reports indicate that only about 8,000 of the 10,000 units shipped remain with customers. Humane has disqualified the third-party vendor responsible for the faulty batteries and is working with a new supplier.
