Human remains of missing hiker found in Arizona mountains

A hiker missing since April has been found dead in the White Tank Mountains of Arizona. Amber Bretsch Barnett, 52, was identified after her remains were discovered near a trail. Her family can now bring her home for burial. Barnett's car was found at the park on April 4, with her belongings still inside. She was reported missing on April 2 after not returning from a hike on the Mesquite Trail, located about 35 miles northwest of Phoenix. The White Tank Mountain Regional Park is the largest national park in Maricopa County, covering nearly 30,000 acres. The park had offered free entry for searchers until April 26.
