lefigaro.fr (French) —

Saudi Arabia announced Friday that three Saudis, including a pilot, were killed in strikes Thursday on Riyadh airport claimed by Yemen's Houthi rebels. The attacks targeted airport facilities and a Saudia airline plane. The civil aviation authority said two attacks hit the airport, killing three Saudi citizens and wounding several people of various nationalities. Saudia Airlines confirmed one of its pilots was killed and an aircraft damaged, bringing the total killed in recent Houthi strikes on Saudi airports to six. A regional source said Riyadh will not yield to "military blackmail" and excludes a truce until government forces regain territories seized by the Houthis. The rebels, who control Sanaa, have also called on airline crews to avoid Saudi airspace.
