Houthi attack on Riyadh airport kills 3 Saudis
Three people were killed in Houthi attacks on Riyadh's King Khalid International Airport, Saudi officials said Friday, marking the deadliest strike in the kingdom since a major offensive against Yemen's rebels began last weekend. An airline pilot was among the three Saudi citizens killed, with attacks targeting airport facilities and a Saudi aircraft, the civil aviation authority said. Several people of different nationalities were wounded, and at least 124 flights were cancelled by Friday afternoon. The Houthis claimed responsibility for a ballistic missile attack, while Saudi allies condemned the strike. The offensive aims to retake territory seized along Yemen's Red Sea coast, with the conflict having killed over 150,000 people since 2015.
