Housefull 5 producer bought "Laal Pari" rights

The producer of the upcoming film *Housefull 5* was forced to purchase the rights to the song "Laal Pari" from three music labels after copyright claims led to the teaser's removal from YouTube. Sajid Nadiadwala reportedly spent a significant sum to secure the song's rights, initially from Dinesh Productions and Zee Music, and then from Mofusion Music Studio after they also claimed ownership. The film, starring Akshay Kumar and Riteish Deshmukh, is set for a June 6 theatrical release. The copyright issues arose because Yo Yo Honey Singh, the song's performer, allegedly promised the song to multiple labels. The song, which features in the film, was released last week and is currently trending on YouTube.
