Hong Kong hosts wedding ceremony for elderly couples on Senior Citizens Day

On November 17, Hong Kong celebrated Senior Citizens Day with a special wedding ceremony for couples aged 60 and above. Volunteers organized the event to help elderly couples renew their vows and celebrate their long-lasting love. Among the 20 couples, To Sheung-hin and Chan Kit-fong, married for 54 years, received special attention. They wore wedding attire and were cheered on by family members during the ceremony held in Tsim Sha Tsui. The event aimed to create joyful memories for couples who may not have had formal wedding celebrations in the past. Nearly 100 volunteers participated in organizing the ceremony, highlighting the importance of love and companionship in later life.
