Holyvolt, a solar cell technology company, has secured new funding, more than doubling its valuation to 2.1 billion Swedish kronor. The company, founded in 2022, is developing a thin-film technology to improve solar cells and batteries, based on 20 years of research. It raised 139 million kronor in this latest funding round. Previous investors include the Wallenberg family's FAM and AB Volvo. Holyvolt is still in the research and development phase, with 2024 revenue at 58 million kronor.
