Hobbs & Shaw returns to Hulu on September 14 as sequel remains in limbo

screenrant.com —

Jason Statham's 2019 action hit "Hobbs & Shaw" will return to streaming on Hulu starting Monday, September 14, after a long period of availability only on The Roku Channel. The film, which earned over $760 million worldwide despite mixed reviews, stars Statham and Dwayne Johnson as unlikely allies fighting cybernetically enhanced terrorist Brixton Lore. A sequel was confirmed in development by spring 2020 but has yet to materialize, with producer Kelly McCormick saying in 2022 there were no active conversations about it. The spinoff's planned follow-up remains unaddressed, and both actors have since returned to the main "Fast & Furious" franchise, with the series finale "Fast Forever" scheduled for March 17, 2028.
