Hisense unveils TriChroma LED technology to enhance Mini-LED TVs at CES 2025
Hisense has introduced its new TriChroma LED technology at CES 2025, which enhances Mini-LED TVs. This technology uses RGB local dimming, allowing for more efficient color production compared to traditional LED TVs that rely on white or blue backlights. The TriChroma LED system features thousands of optical lenses with separate red, green, and blue LEDs, improving brightness and color accuracy. The Hisense 116UX TV, which showcases this technology, claims a maximum brightness of 10,000 nits, significantly higher than current models. Currently, the TriChroma LED is unique to the 116UX, which has not yet been released for sale. Its potential to improve Mini-LED technology could position it as a key player in the future of LED displays as Micro-LED technology develops.
