A 25-year-old man died of electrocution Thursday morning while crossing the central verge of the Delhi-Dehradun Expressway in northeast Delhi, after contacting high-voltage wires. The incident occurred around 10am near pillar number 52 in the Shastri Park area. Police suspect he climbed a six-foot railing, stepped onto an electrical panel, and touched live wires. He was declared dead at a hospital. A forensic team examined the panel and wires. Proceedings under the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita were initiated, and the body was kept at GTB Hospital pending identification.
