High court judge rules former Yodel owner likely forged mother's signature in takeover bid

A high court judge ruled that former Yodel owner Jacob Corlett likely forged his mother's signature in an attempt to regain control of the parcel delivery firm. Corlett bought Yodel for £1 in January 2024, but the company soon faced financial distress. He later sold it for £1 to Judge Logistics Ltd, which was subsequently acquired by InPost. The judge's ruling, based on handwriting analysis, found Corlett's claim to majority ownership through warrants signed by his mother to be suspicious and likely forged.
