Hideo Kojima signs with Hollywood agency to expand into film and anime

Hideo Kojima, known for creating Death Stranding and Metal Gear, has signed with the Hollywood talent agency WME. This partnership aims to expand his work into movies, anime, and TV dramas, alongside his ongoing video game projects. Kojima outlined a three-phase plan for Kojima Productions. The first phase focuses on the Death Stranding sequel, while the second phase will explore adaptations into various media. The third phase remains open-ended, emphasizing collaboration on new digital entertainment. Kojima confirmed he will supervise the plot of the upcoming Death Stranding movie but will not direct it. He mentioned several adaptation projects are in progress and expressed interest in creating original stories for film.
