Hezbollah launches simultaneous rocket and drone attacks to challenge Israel's air defenses
Hezbollah has adopted a new tactic to challenge Israel's air defenses by launching simultaneous barrages of different-range rockets and drones along the Israel-Lebanon border. This strategy aims to confuse the Iron Dome system and radar detection. Recent attacks targeted areas including Western Galilee and the Golan Heights, with multiple projectiles fired in quick succession. In one instance, Hezbollah launched 10 rockets at Western Galilee while also targeting the Golan Heights with 25 projectiles. Israeli Defense Forces anticipate more significant attacks from Hezbollah, preparing for a variety of rockets and drones in future barrages. They attribute Hezbollah's current limited strikes to recent military successes against the group in South Lebanon.
