Henry Cole reveals gut cancer diagnosis and postpones tour

British television presenter Henry Cole has announced he has been diagnosed with gut cancer, forcing him to postpone his upcoming theatre tour to undergo surgery. The 62-year-old shared the news in an emotional social media video, apologising to fans for the disruption. Cole said the cancer is localised and easy to operate on, expressing hope for a full recovery by February. He reassured followers that filming for his shows is unaffected, while actress Elizabeth Hurley was among those offering public support. Cole is known for hosting motorbike-themed programmes including The Motorbike Show and Shed and Buried. He previously spoke publicly about overcoming a heroin addiction in 2019 and lives with his wife Janie and their two sons.
