Helldivers 2 launches free Omens of Tyranny update with new faction and features

The free "Omens of Tyranny" update for Helldivers 2 is now available on PS5 and PC. This update introduces the new Illuminate faction, an urban biome, and a Fast Recon Vehicle, enhancing gameplay for veteran players. The Illuminate faction is stronger than previous enemies, requiring new strategies. They command the Voteless, zombie-like creatures with poor eyesight but keen hearing, promoting stealth tactics. Illuminate Overseers, equipped with jetpacks, lead these forces. Additionally, the update features tripedal Harvesters that can activate shields. These machines will navigate the new Colony biomes, allowing players to use urban warfare weapons effectively.
