Hearthstone announces StarCraft crossover and 2025 expansion roadmap

Hearthstone will feature a StarCraft crossover mini-set in January 2025, introducing 49 new cards inspired by the iconic units of the sci-fi game. This marks the largest mini-set in Hearthstone's history and expands gameplay options for various classes. Blizzard also announced a full roadmap for 2025, including three expansions and significant changes to the Arena mode. The new Arena will offer two versions: a faster Normal Arena and the Underground Arena, which will cater to players of all skill levels with a re-draft feature. The first expansion, Into the Emerald Dream, will explore a natural version of Azeroth, while The Shrouded City will continue the story from 2017's Journey to Un'Goro. The final expansion, Heroes of Time, will present alternate versions of legendary heroes in a battle against the Infinite Dragonflight.
