Haryana to establish Global AI Centre with World Bank support

Haryana will establish a Global Artificial Intelligence Centre with support from the World Bank. This initiative aims to enhance AI research and training, positioning the state as a global education hub for modern skills. The World Bank's country director highlighted Haryana's potential for economic growth, noting its appeal to foreign investors due to its proximity to Delhi. The collaboration is expected to strengthen the state's technological capabilities. Additionally, Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini expressed interest in partnering with the World Bank on a river interlinking project to improve irrigation and water management in Haryana.
