Harrisburg restaurant owner plans second location in Steelton

A second Pastorante restaurant is set to open in Steelton, with renovations currently underway. Owner Sri Kumarasingam is expanding due to issues at the original location in Harrisburg, where dine-in business has declined. Kumarasingam cited safety concerns and disturbances from a nearby establishment as reasons for the move. Although takeout and delivery remain strong, he is considering closing the Harrisburg location after the new restaurant opens. The Steelton restaurant will feature a full pasta menu similar to the original and is expected to take three to four months to complete. An opening date has not yet been announced.
