Harold Alarcon leads UP to victory over UE with career-high 33 points

Harold Alarcon scored a career-high 33 points, leading the University of the Philippines (UP) to a 77-67 victory over the University of the East (UE) in their final UAAP Season 87 elimination round game. UP finished with an 11-3 record. Alarcon's performance included 12-of-17 shooting and 16 points in the fourth quarter. Quentin Millora-Brown contributed 16 points and 12 rebounds. UP will face the University of Santo Tomas in the semifinals. UE suffered its fifth consecutive loss, ending its hopes for a Final Four spot. The Red Warriors need Ateneo to defeat Adamson to keep their playoff chances alive.
