Hari Nef writes, stars in Candy Darling biopic

Hari Nef is now writing and starring in a biopic about the life of Candy Darling, a transgender icon and Warhol superstar. Nef, who was cast in the role in 2022, took over writing duties after extensive research and a desire to tell Darling's story authentically. The project is currently in the early stages of fundraising and casting. The film will explore Darling's career and impact, aiming to capture her spirit and the challenges she faced as a trans woman in the entertainment industry.
