Hamamatsu City event teaches drunk driving dangers with balance-simulating goggles

A traffic safety event in Hamamatsu City allowed participants to experience the dangers of drunk driving using special goggles that simulate impaired balance. The event, a collaboration between the Shizuoka Prefectural Police and Enshu Railway, featured driving simulators and the balance-impairing goggles. Attendees learned about the risks associated with impaired driving firsthand. Enshu Railway was recognized as a "Safe Driving Management Promotion Business" and plans to continue its partnership with the police on traffic safety initiatives.
