Halo Studios has laid off an unconfirmed number of developers just over a week after releasing Halo: Campaign Evolved, with affected staff announcing departures on social media. Producer Nick Treitman said layoffs finally caught up to him after six and a half years on Halo. Scrum master Paul Morris confirmed his departure after the successful launch, citing a tough job market. Xbox has not commented. Last month, Xbox announced 3,200 job cuts across Microsoft-owned studios, with 1,600 immediate and the rest through this financial year.
