Gy triple murder: grandmother died of knife wounds, autopsies show

Autopsies of four family members found dead on September 2 in Gy, Haute-Saône, reveal the grandmother died from violent knife wounds inflicted by the children's father. The case is now classified as a triple murder. The two children, aged 6 and 10, and their 42-year-old father died from gunshot wounds, with evidence suggesting the children were shot at close range. The 74-year-old grandmother was beaten before receiving three knife blows described as highly violent. Prosecutor Arnaud Grécourt stated the leading hypothesis is that the father, amid separation proceedings, killed the three others before turning the weapon on himself.
