Gurugram RWA seeks CM intervention as Sector-57 sanitation stalls

Sanitation services in Sector-57, Gurugram, have stalled, prompting the Residents Welfare Association (RWA) to appeal to the Chief Minister's complaint cell for intervention. The RWA, led by President Roshan Lal Yadav and Vice President SK Malhotra, has written to the grievance officer at the mini secretariat, questioning the Municipal Corporation of Gurugram's (MCG) functioning. They allege that cleaning of internal roads has been nearly suspended since November 2024, with minimal staff deployed only to local market areas. The RWA reports that accumulated dust is harming residents' health. After sending the initial letter on November 23, 2024, and nine reminders through July 14, 2026, they now seek CM Window intervention to direct the MCG commissioner to ensure immediate cleaning and prevent waste buildup.
