The Guntur Municipal Corporation plans to finish land acquisition for a new Road Over Bridge (ROB) by the end of February. This bridge will replace the existing Sankar Vilas ROB, which currently handles over 60% of city traffic. A second ROB will be built on the Inner Ring Road to connect the city with the National Highway.
