G.T. Deve Gowda welcomes investigation into 50:50 scheme complaint

G.T. Deve Gowda, a senior JD(S) leader, has welcomed a Lokayukta investigation into a complaint regarding his involvement in the 50:50 scheme by the Mysuru Urban Development Authority. The complaint was filed by activist Snehamayi Krishna. The complaint alleges that Gowda's daughter and son-in-law purchased land from a landloser who received compensation under the scheme, despite the land being under litigation. Gowda denies any wrongdoing, stating the purchase was made legally. Gowda expressed confidence that the investigation will clarify the allegations of influence and kickbacks. He also commended the activist for his efforts to hold politicians accountable.
