thenextweb.com —

GoWish, a Danish wishlist app, has raised fresh funding at a valuation exceeding $200mn, according to Bloomberg. The Copenhagen-based company now has 18 million users, half of them American. The app began in 2015 as Ønskeskyen, a seasonal tool by postal operator PostNord, before investor Dotcom Capital bought it in 2020. Private equity firm Capital D acquired a third in January 2025, making it PE-backed rather than venture-funded. GoWish recorded 194 million wishes in 2024, representing €10.7bn in buying intentions, and runs 65,000 affiliate partnerships. It posted a DKK 6.2mn loss in 2025, prioritizing growth over profit.
