Google's Find My Device adds location sharing for contacts

Google has updated its Find My Device app to include location sharing for friends and family. This feature allows users to see a map of contacts who share their location, enhancing the app's functionality. Previously, location sharing was only available through Google Maps. Now, Find My Device combines tracking for both people and items in one app, simplifying the process for users. The app now features a "People" tab to view shared locations and options to manage location sharing duration. The interface resembles Apple's Find My app, offering a similar layout for viewing devices and people.
