Google signs MrBeast to promote Gemini, Google Health, and Fitbit

Google has signed a multiyear deal with MrBeast, the YouTube creator with over 500 million subscribers, to promote its AI chatbot Gemini, Google Health, and Fitbit wearables. The partnership begins Sept. 5 with a video featuring MrBeast's crew surviving extreme climates. The initial video will split teams across the Arctic, jungle, and desert, where they will use Gemini to identify dangers and survive harsh conditions. MrBeast will also lead a new Gemini advertising campaign and wear a Fitbit Air in a separate challenge on his channel. The deal comes as YouTube works to retain top creators amid competition from platforms like Netflix. MrBeast, who generates billions of monthly views, has remained loyal to YouTube despite interest from other services.
