Google Health 5.12 adds blood pressure logging and NHS record sync
Google Health's 5.12 update is now rolling out for Android and iOS, adding manual blood pressure logging, NHS record syncing in England, and new interactive health graphs. The update follows a major October release and aims to strengthen the app's health tracking capabilities. The update lets users manually log blood pressure or import readings from Health Connect and Apple Health, with Premium subscribers able to use Google Health Coach for this data. It also introduces pregnancy support, automatically pausing cycle predictions and period notifications in favor of weekly pregnancy tracking. New blood pressure graphs appear under the Heart tab, while a glucose visualization overlays logged events like exercise, sleep, and nutrition, allowing direct data input on the graph. Google has also fixed Resilience score calculations, which previously produced lower values, affecting past measurements. Premium users can personalize coach conversations and feed insights, while food items logged within 60 minutes are grouped automatically. In England, users can connect the app to Patients Know Best to sync records from NHS organizations, a feature currently limited to select US providers.
