Google Gemini's best features require paid subscriptions

Google has introduced a new feature in Gmail that allows users to quickly add events to their Google Calendar. This feature simplifies the process, but it is only available to those with a paid subscription to Google Workspace or Google One AI Premium. The rollout of this feature began recently and is expected to be completed by mid-April. Users will need to pay at least $20 a month for access, which also unlocks additional capabilities of the Gemini AI. Many of Gemini's most useful features, including handling large PDF documents, are also behind a paywall. This has raised questions among users about why certain functionalities are not available for free.
