Google enhances Android safety with alerts for hidden Bluetooth trackers
Google is enhancing safety features for Android users by improving alerts for hidden Bluetooth trackers. Users will now receive notifications if an unknown tracker is moving with them, allowing for immediate action. The updated Find Nearby feature helps users locate these hidden trackers. It also allows users to temporarily pause their location on the Find My Device network for 24 hours, preventing unauthorized tracking. Additionally, users can access details about the tracker, including its registered location and the last four digits of the owner's number. These updates aim to increase user safety and privacy.
