Parsons, who died this week, was remembered as an upbeat and dedicated colleague who worked on many political stories with Singh. Weather presenter Laura Tobin described him as a supportive friend who made her laugh every morning and even worked on his 50th birthday. The team sent their love to Parsons' wife and four children, with Tobin noting his passion for his job and his smile that "lit up the room."
