Good Good Golf CEO and president depart after Callaway ad backlash
Good Good Golf CEO Matt Kendrick and president Joe Flannery have departed the company following a controversial advertisement with Callaway Golf, with co-founder Nahid Giga stepping in as interim CEO. The leadership change was announced in a memo from COO and CFO Alex Puchala, who described the departures as decisions made by both men and emphasized stability during the transition. The ad, which showed Garrett Clark pretending to shove female member Alexis Miestowski, was removed after backlash. The controversy led to product removals from retailers and the brand withdrawing from a PGA Tour event sponsorship. Kendrick had also drawn criticism for late-night social media posts targeting Callaway following the incident.
