The Golden Tide event in Fisch began on January 11 and runs until January 25. Players can complete the Dr. Glimmerfin quest to earn a new rod and an exclusive boat for free by collecting four types of Algae samples. Algae spawn in pools at four locations: Ancient Isles, Snowcap Island, Forsaken Island, and Mushgrove Island. Players receive notifications when pools appear, marked on the screen for easy tracking. To catch Algae, players should use low-tier rods like the Magma rod, which provides a 15% Luck buff. Garbage bait is recommended to improve chances of success. Players will need to rely on luck to gather all samples during the event.
