GMDA will build Gurgaon sewage station for ₹97.6cr
Gurgaon's GMDA will build a new sewage pumping station at a cost of Rs 97.6 crore to combat sewage backflow in residential areas. The new station in Sector 9A will have a capacity of 665.5 MLD, significantly increasing the current capacity of 218 MLD. The existing station's deterioration has caused pump failures, leading to sewage overflows and complaints from residents. The project aims to address issues caused by the existing station's limitations, including frequent motor failures and insufficient capacity during heavy rainfall, impacting nearby colonies.
