The global foreign exchange market has reached a record daily trading volume of $9.6 trillion. The US dollar remains dominant, participating in nearly 90% of all transactions. This surge represents a 28% increase from 2022, driven by heightened volatility following US tariff announcements. Despite speculation, demand for the dollar has not decreased, with forward contracts seeing significant growth.
