Gijón seeks Madrid's help for port access projects

The President of the Port Authority of Gijón, Nieves Roqueñí, met with the Director of Roads in Madrid to advance infrastructure projects related to El Musel port. The meeting focused on accelerating projects, including the doubling of the Lloreda-Veriña section of the GI-10, a key project to alleviate traffic congestion. The Port Authority is developing a comprehensive strategy for improved port access. This strategy, supported by the Ministry, aims to improve logistics, sustainability, and urban integration, with plans for immediate and long-term actions, including traffic reorganization and environmental improvements.
