Police in Ghaziabad arrested interstate drug trafficker Kaustubh, alias Kartik, under Operation Prahar, seizing 13 lakh rupees in cash, 894 grams of cannabis, and two grams of cocaine. The accused reportedly took drug orders from students via WhatsApp, collected payment through UPI, and delivered the contraband using porters. Police also arrested two other traffickers with 21 kilograms of cannabis. Kaustubh, a Bihar native with degrees from Sharda University, allegedly sourced drugs from Bihar for supply in Delhi-NCR. His gang, with over eight members, trafficked cannabis, MDMA, charas, smack, and cocaine, and he was already wanted in an NDPS case.
