Ghaghara river floods Gonda villages, submerging crops

Ghaghara river in Gonda is flowing 45 cm above the danger mark, causing widespread flooding. Over 40 villages are on alert, with more than 300 bighas of crops submerged and roads cut off. Relief centers are active, and boats are deployed for rescue. The administration has activated flood posts and deployed teams for monitoring and relief efforts, with instructions issued for crop damage compensation.
