Germans lead European spending during Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales
Germans, Austrians, and French consumers are expected to spend the most during Black Friday and Cyber Monday, with spending predicted to rise by 175%. About 61% of shoppers in Spain, the UK, Italy, France, and Germany plan to participate. Germans have the highest average budget at €251, followed by Austrians at €219 and French shoppers at €206. Most shoppers focus on electronics and clothing, with 66% targeting computers and 54% interested in fashion items. This year, the biggest discounts are expected on electronics (30%), toys (27%), clothing (23%), and furniture (19%). Last year's Black Friday sales increased by 175%, while Cyber Monday saw a 58% rise.
