German woman, 64, dies in 20-meter cliff fall in Sagres

A 64-year-old German woman died on Sunday after falling approximately 20 meters from a cliff in Sagres, Portugal. The incident occurred while she was walking between Tonel and Beliche beaches. Emergency services were activated at 5:24 PM following an alert to the MRCC Lisbon. Rescue teams from the Maritime Police, SeaWatch project, and volunteer firefighters recovered the victim, who was pronounced dead at the scene by an INEM medical team. The body was transported to the Barlavento Algarvio forensic facility after authorization from the Public Prosecutor's Office. The Lagos Maritime Police Command is handling the investigation.
