Genoa reach total agreement to sign Djibril Sow from Sevilla

Genoa has reached a total agreement to sign midfielder Djibril Sow from Sevilla, fulfilling coach Daniele De Rossi's request for a reinforcement in the center of the pitch. The transfer is expected to be made official in the coming days. The Swiss midfielder with Senegalese citizenship, born in 1997, had a contract with the Andalusian club until 2029. In the last season, Sow played 33 matches, scoring 5 goals and providing 4 assists, demonstrating he remains in excellent physical condition. The news comes on the same day Genoa suffered a heavy 10-1 defeat against Bournemouth in an unusual friendly match lasting 120 minutes, divided into four 30-minute periods.
