Gen Z continues to shape app usage, making up about 40% of mobile users globally. This year, the most downloaded app among U.S. users aged 18 to 24 is Temu, with nearly 42 million downloads, reflecting a strong interest in affordable online shopping. TikTok follows with over 33 million downloads, popular for its quick content. YouTube also remains significant, with 14 million installs. Newer apps like ShortMax, featuring short films, have gained traction, with over 10 million downloads. Meta's Threads leads among its apps with 32 million downloads, while WhatsApp and Instagram also see high numbers. Educational tools like ChatGPT and Gauth are popular, with 24 million and 8 million downloads, respectively. Other notable apps include Netflix, Spotify, and payment platforms like PayPal and Venmo.
