Gaza mother reunites with baby daughter after 11 months apart
A mother from Gaza, Raneem Hijazi, was reunited with her 11-month-old daughter, Mariam, after being separated for nearly a year. Hijazi was injured in an Israeli airstrike during her pregnancy, leading to an emergency C-section. Hijazi was evacuated to Qatar for medical treatment, while Mariam remained in Egypt with family. After months of recovery and surgeries, Hijazi's family was finally able to join her in Doha, allowing them to meet for the first time. Despite her injuries, Hijazi is focused on rebuilding her life and forming a bond with Mariam. She faces challenges in caring for her daughter but is determined to adapt and create a nurturing environment for her family.
