Garmin launches Ascent X50i, its largest dive computer with enhanced features

Garmin has launched the Ascent X50i, its first large-format dive computer. This device features a 3-inch screen and is designed for divers, offering a clearer display and enhanced functionality compared to previous models. The Ascent X50i can connect to air tanks and relay tidal data. It also allows communication between divers using compatible devices. Preloaded dive maps for 4,000 sites are included, making it a comprehensive tool for underwater exploration. Retailing at $1,499.99, the Ascent X50i is expected to ship in 3-5 weeks. Its features and larger screen aim to provide a more user-friendly experience compared to competitors like the Shearwater Perdix 2.
