Gang stealing telecom equipment in Gujarat arrested
Rajkot police arrested five members of a gang for stealing from BSNL telephone exchanges in Gujarat. The gang is linked to seven thefts, including three in Amreli district, and police recovered stolen equipment valued at Rs 11.60 lakh. The suspects, aged 19 to 24, are from Jamnagar. They used Google Maps to find targets and operated at night, stealing electronic circuits, batteries, and telecom equipment. One member is a minor. One suspect, Arjun Parmar, has a criminal history with four previous burglary cases. The gang had been active for the past six months.
