Ganago and Yusuf called up for World Cup qualifiers
New England Revolution players Ignatius Ganago and Alhassan Yusuf have been called up to their national teams for FIFA World Cup African qualifiers. They will leave after the match against New York City FC on Saturday. Ganago will represent Cameroon, aiming for his first international points since June 2023. He has 14 caps and will play Eswatini on March 19 and Libya on March 25. Yusuf will join Nigeria, seeking his first points at the senior level. He has made seven appearances for the Super Eagles and will face Rwanda on March 21 and Zimbabwe on March 25.
