Fugitive sought in Austria for mayor and police officer killings may have extensive kill list
A fugitive named Robert Drexler, 56, is wanted for allegedly killing a mayor and a retired police officer in Austria. Police believe he may have a kill list with up to 50 names, primarily targeting local hunters. Drexler reportedly shot the mayor, Franz Hofer, and then killed Joseph Hartl shortly after. Both victims had previously reported him for hunting violations. A large police operation, involving over 250 officers and helicopters, is underway to locate him. Authorities are now protecting individuals believed to be on Drexler's list. He is armed with multiple firearms and is using a silver VW Caddy to evade capture. Police continue to search dense forests and challenging terrain.
