Frontier Airlines launches new flights from Seattle Paine Field

Frontier Airlines will begin new flights from Seattle Paine Field in June, marking its first service at the airport. The airline will offer routes to Denver, Las Vegas, and Phoenix, competing directly with Alaska Airlines. The new services will operate three times a week, starting June 2. Frontier is also launching flights to Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic, with additional routes planned for May across the U.S. and nearby international destinations. Paine Field has struggled to recover passenger numbers post-pandemic, with only 580,000 travelers last year compared to over 52 million at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. Frontier aims to attract budget-conscious travelers with promotional fares.
